Default 1993 accord issue

93 accord EX auto 130k

I have had an issue lately, It starts and idles fine, when I go about a mile, It has a dead spot, I have to feather the throttle to get passed it. This happens consistantly when I am at any speed. I can crusie at 50mph and when I give it gas it happens again. It is like the ignition goes out. I have changed the ignition module with no luck, this weekend I put in a new throttle position sensor and that didn't help. It was a new auction item that had me set the voltage at .45v with the ignition on.

What else can it be? I work a couple of jobs, so I don't have to much time to trouble shoot These issues. I hope it's something easy that I can remedy easily.

A flat spot in acceleration, particularly when accelerating from 1800-2000 rpm can be caused by EGR port blockage on these models. See following link for similar guidance.

I have a more specific procedure in pdf form. PM your email address to me and I'll forward.

good luck
