Default 1993 Accord rotor replacement.. Axle nuts??

So apparently I have the most stupid design of rotors in the world here and of course the rotors are warped to hell ... Any tips on how these stupid things come off?? Also, what do I have to do to put them back on? I'm reading that I have to put new hub nuts on there??

What is this thing about driving some bolts of the same size through there to remove something?

I think I pretty much have it figured out .. Except for this part .. I didn't see any "thin outer lip". .. .

How to change rotors on a 1993 Honda Accord [It is a good idea to buy new hub nuts for re-installation, because the hub nut must be retained in its proper bearing-holding position by using a punch to deform the thin outer lip of the hub nut into the notch of the spindle threads, NOT by tightening the hub nut. This thin outer lip can easily tear away with repeated punching, rendering it incapable of preventing the hub nut from coming loose, a dangerous safety condition.]

Also does anyone know why he runs the bolts through and then tap hammers it?? Why could one not just drive bolts through and then keep going until it comes apart??? Would that strip the threads or something like that?

PS: I have never seen brakes like these!!!

That is an excellent idea - as soon as money permits, it will be done!! For sure!!!!

I ran out of money and this is getting so bad it HAS to be done because the vibration when brakes are applied is going to shake the whole car loose - LoL!!

I have a guy doing it for $50 and so it is on me to be SURE he does it safely ... he seems to be pretty intelligent and has air tools ... Being poor is the dumbest thing I have ever done, ha !

Hey......are you calling me dumb

Better thing, if he will let you help or watch....well worth the money. None of us were born knowing how to do this, we all learned somewhere from someone.

EDIT: For all of those that ever helped me or taught me.....Thank You.

I know.....just looking for a little fun today. Trust me, I would/do plan my repairs......one week I buy the pads....next week maybe I get both rotors....or maybe that takes another week.....so I was just saying that I understand your statement.....
