Replacement is '92 or '93 LX engine.Past engine change experience has been on older GM and Ford makes. Interested in what special tools (if any)i willneed. Also, any tips or suggestions to help with this project would be greatly appreciated.

I would recommend changing the water pump and timing belt on the new engine while its out of the car.

I personally like top, easiest just to take the tranny with it, then connect the tranny to the new engine out of the car then drop it all in.

I dropped my tranny out of the bottom.... that was a b****. If you have a hoist, go out the top, if you have ang engine/tranny jack.... go out the bottom.

Oh and be gentle when taking it out... the TPS sensor is right there.... and that is a nice spare to have and easily broken.

not that I recall, you just unscrew a nut, then lift the fuel line off the fuel rail, as you can see in this picture where it attaches on the far left of it
