Default 1993 ex starting issues

So I have a 1993 honda accord ex. The issue is intermittently, I try to start it and it catches but doesnt stay running, if i half **** the key (so its in the position right before it would turn over) I can get it to stay running. This happens seemingly at random, I checked the relay (cant remember exactly what it was called) and it tested out fine with a volt meter and triggered at an appropriate voltage. Any other thoughts gents?

This sounds like there are contact problems with the electrical portion of the ignition switch. When the engine is running, can you get the car to stall out by shaking the key?

There are some youtube videos on how to do this. The hardest part will be removing the bolts for the ignition switch assembly.

Those bolts are round, so you can't use a wrench. Some of the videos out there don't show this as a step.
