Default 1994 EX A/T Emission Test and Muffler Question

Honda Gurus-

Have a question, regarding about Emission Test and muffler for Honda Accord 1994 EX A/T.

So, I have replaced the muffler on my Accord, with an aftermarket Walker one.

I tried to replace the old gasket, but it's a B!tch to remove, so I reused the old one attached to the resonator.

Before replacing there was a very minor leak at the resonator and muffler junction, which is still present, but seems bit more.

QUESTION:Now my question is, what's the easiest or best way to remove the Old Gasket and put a new one or will I be able to pass the emission with the existing one?
Any test I can do to make sure that there is no exhaust leak and car will pass emission test?

NOTE: I have passed emission test without any issues in the past.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Use a screwdriver/chisel/pliers/grinder once it starts to come out it should peel out. Ive thought they were permanently fused and once I got it started it peeled right out.

I suspect it depends on who is testing your car no way for someone to speculate.
