1994 Lock cylinder
I need to replace the ignition lock cylinder on my 94 accord dx 2.2 auto trans.
I am having trouble locating the lock cylinder without the switch.I think all I need is a new set of tumblers.
Mine is working but it's getting to the point where I have to wiggle and rock the steering column to make it turn. One of these days I'm going to be stuck.
I'm finding the whole assembly, but not the lock part by itself
Please advise
Thanks

Do you have another key you can try? For under $10, the honda dealership should be able to cut you a new key based on the VIN. It is worth a shot.
Another option would be to take the lock cylinder to a locksmith to replace the old tumblers, so you can use the same key.
If you go to hondapartsnow.com, enter in your car's information, then click on key cylinder set, you should be able to find the lock cylinder.

i went to my local dealer, they could not cut key from vin. They reccomended changing entire set for around $350
I only have the one key,had one cut from it,that's when my problem began,I think the duplicate, screwed something up
