Normal operating temp of the Main Fuel Relay is quite warm. I once measured MFR temps on the bench w/ IR gun and got temps to 140F. Probably why these relays have such frequent problems.

Hard to understand why Honda installed this problematic relay in so many Accords over the years. Surely they are aware of the problem.

And it probably would've cost about 15 cents per car to put heat-sink fins on that relay.
