1997 Accord Sedan, LX, i4 - Aftermarket suspension - problems with front right strut
Hi. I've got a 1997 Honda Accord Lx sedan, automatic, inline 4.
About 10k ago I installed some aftermarket suspension parts...
H & R Sport Cup Kit from the Tire Rack includes springs/struts/shocks,
Ingalls engineering front/rear upper camber arm + front upper adjustable ball joints, Tanabe Sustec chromoly front strut tower brace + front chromoly anti-sway bar, Megan Racing rear anti-sway bar.
It seems that the front right damper isn't functioning properly. Taking turns
hard it seems that the front right end is a little loose maybe from an improper install or perhaps a worn part. What could this be?
The front two struts (when hitting a bump) actually put a dent from
the top of the damper assembly into the inside metal area in the engine bay.
I don't have pillowballs on the front suspension or rear. Would this make a difference along with replacing the front struts. I was thinking of going oem Honda. Let me know. I spend a lot of money on the install and they didn't do a good job.
Get back to me. Thanks.
