Default 1997 Front Wheel Bearing

Hey guys,

I need to replace my front right wheel bearing and have a few questions.

I've looked around a bit and I read a couple posts mentioning a bearing/hub assembly that is simply bolt in/out. No pressing of the bearings needed. Is this correct?

Next question is where would you guys recommend I buy the new wheel bearings? Obviously I could find somewhere on my own, but figured this would be a good place to get the best deals and/or possibly help another board member out.

Thanks in advance

Google ericthecarguy wheel bearing. He has good YouTube videos on how to do this.

I am not sure what bearing you want to use. See how expensive the OEM bearing will be. Look for the part number on hondapartsnow.com and search the OEM part number. I have found good deals on OEM parts from Ebay.

You can buy the hub and bearing together as an assembly and install. You'll still need to get the hub assy w/ bearing out of the knuckle, which can be problematic. As PA points out, the Ericthecarguy video will explain the issues.

good luck
