Default 1997 Honda Accord automatic...pretty serious tranny leak??

Guys,

I'm trying to help a friend of mine out here...I've attached a couple of pictures but they were taken lying on my back on a cell phone camera so please forgive the quality.

All I can see is that the "line" in the dead center of the first photo where the trans and engine actually mate up has fluid dripping all along it in about 2-3 spots.

Are there any somewhat common gaskets/seals that go out that could be causing this?

Thank you,

Donnie

Check the solenoids/trans seals, drain plug, ATF coolant line connections/hoses, and pressure vent line (could be stopped up, on top side of trans somewhere). Other than these items, leaks would probably not be repairable w/o pulling the trans.

Download the 94-97 Honda Accord shop manual from links on Online Manuals post of DIY forum for details.

good luck

I can't find the shop manual in the DIY section...tried a search with shop manual in the title spot. Could you please provide a link?

https://www.hondaaccordforum.com/for...-manuals-4597/

You have to set the period for posts to "Beginning" at bottom of page to see all the DIY section posts. The above is on 2nd page.

good luck
