I doubt that it is the water pump, and that would be the last component I would consider checking.

Is the engine overheating with the new fan installed?

PAhonda could it be the thermo switch 2 or thermo sensor 2(whatever its called) gone bad.
the one that senses the upper temp causing the fan fan to cut off to soon?

Have the rad cap tested or replace it.

the car doesnt over heat it doesnt get to the point yet. but after i turn off the car water comes out the reserve tank. but it only happens when the a/c is on

Engine and coolant are slightly hotter when AC is used and overflows due to a weak radiator cap relief spring or possibly a thermostat that is allowing temperature to get a bit too high. Hopefully radiator cap will fix.

the thermostat isn't in the car anymore. thats the 1st thing i checked. so now i'm gonna try to change the radiator cap

Hopefully radiator cap will fix, otherwise head gasket leak is likely.

One other thing you can try, when you start having the coolant problem, touch the upper and lower radiator hose. Do this quickly, because those hoses are HOT. Is there a noticeable difference in temperature?
