Hey all, I'm new to this forum and I am looking for opinions.

I have a 1997 Accord Ex 4cyl. and my car was squeaking going over speed bumps. So I took my car to the shop to get new tires and check out what the squeaking noise was and found out that my struts have gone bad. So the guy quoted me $100 per strut and $400 in labor so the total comes out to about $800. That's a little too much I want to pay because my car is 13 years old and has over 160K miles on it already. So he told me if I can find cheaper parts he can just do the labor for 420 even.

And this is why I am here. I know nothing about struts. I visited several auto websites and ebay and they have struts ranging from $30 - $90. I don't know of they are any good.

It's less than $40 but I'm not too sure if it's any good or not.

Does anybody have any recommendation on struts thats not too expensive but not bad in quality?
