ok, im a noob to all this still... hence two posts of the same thing by accident and i dont know how to delete my posts after i stupidly figure out what i was doing wrong..

Press the "edit" button on your post & I think it'll give you the option to DELETE as well as edit.
If not, post again & I'll delete it.

If its like the 5th gen, you have to cut holes in the side of the trunk liner so the bar will pass through it to get to the struts.
