Default 1998 Accord LX Inline 4 Power door lock/unlock wires

Hi,

I recently uninstalled an aftermarket security system in my 98 Accord LX (without factory security system).

Everything is fine except for two orphan wires from the driver's side door. They are the negative wire leads for the power door lock/unlock and supposedly connect to the driver's side multiplex control unit with a 2 pin gray connector (as per online alarm installation instructions). They are green/red and black/white. Of note, my power door locks work fine, so it's not necessary that I fix it, but I'm kind of obsessive with things not being done "right". I'm thinking that it may control the auto lock/unlock feature.

Is there anybody out there that has a stock 98 LX accord that can tell me where to connect these two wires? I've looked online and in the service manual, but I can't seem to find the answer.

Thanks for any help!

Lauren

If you've got the service manual, look at the difference between LX & EX circuits. I sorta remember something like the EX had multiplexers & LX/DX didn't?? Maybe they're supposed to be orphan wires; only used on a EX.
