Default Door Panel Plastic Membrane

I have a 2012 Honda Accord EXL-V6. Underneath the door panel there is a plastic membrane between the door frame and the door panel. The plastic membrane is held to the door frame with some typy of adhesive wich feels like a tacky, plyable caulk. I have to replace the plastic membrane and don't know what to use to hold the plastic film to the door.

Does this adhesive come with the plastic film that I am buying from the dealer? What kind of adhesive should I use to hold the plastic to the door frame?

Thank you for your help.

I can't remember the name for the product I found. I bought it at car quest. It was sold in a roll and used to seal a car window.

You might even be able to heat it up with a hairdryer, peel the plastic, & re-use the sticky goo.

If you use something like caulking, that works fine until the next time you have to remove the film. It basically protects the inner door panel from rainwater.
