Did anyone have this problem on an 03 Accord Coupe? Both mine have snapped from me taking the door panels off to work on window motors and we have been opening my doors from the outside a few months now. The plastic piece broke into on mine. I dont remember a ring like this pix shows on mine. I have taken many door panels odd on Accords and no other model seems to be designed this easily to break.

 

Outside of buying a new cable (my plastic piece broke also taking a door panel off of my 2004 Accord), did you have a solution to make this work? I tried crazy glue, but that was worthless. A new one at the dealership is only $14, but I'm not looking to replacing the cable though.

Edit: I ended up buying a new one after trying to repair the green plastic piece that broke.
