Default Door Lock Broke

I HAVE A HUGE PROBLEM ON MY 1994 HONDA ACCORD EX 2DR. I AM PRETTY POSITIVE I NEED TO REPLACE MY DRIVER SIDE ACTUATOR. EXCEPT MY DOOR WON'T OPEN FROM THE INSIDE OR OUTSIDE. SO WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO OPEN THE DOOR? I CANT REMOVE THE INTERIOR PANEL BECAUSE THE PANEL IS NEXT TO THE DASH AND IS IN THE WAY OF REMOVING ONE OF THE SCREWS. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
THANXS

check the linkage. You can take the handle off without the whole panel. You'll see one screw in the handle area (keep in mind you're inside the car). Take that screw out, disconnect the door lock wires and remove the plastic piece. See if the metal rod and plastic bushing is attached. You may be able to somehow manipulate one of the linkages and get the door open.

my dodge truck did this to me. If was a linkage issue. It didn't have power locks though..

if the linkage is disconnected or jammed by the door latch,, you got to remove the door panel to get to it... I have found it easier to remove the frt seat on occasions such as this,, and for your sake i hope it is not the old deraded 90-93 accord problem where you have to drill the latch ...

this is what i am talking about .......
