1998 Accord shuts off sporadically
My 1998 Honda Accord EX, automatic, 4 cyl, shuts off sporadically. I will be driving and it will just die. No sputtering or any warning at all. I have found that if I turn the iginition on and off three times, it starts right up every time. The ignition recall has been done by the previous owner according to my local dealer. I replaced the main relay according to other threads I have read, it didn't make a difference. I also had Auto Zone pull the codes and there weren't any. Any idea what this problem might be. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

Welcome!
People have had the same problem again after the ignition-switch recall. Seems like they install a new switch, but it's not re-designed so it can go bad again.
If you can make it happen by wiggling the key, that really points to a flaky switch.

The igntion switch replaced in the recall is the EXACT same unit that was the cause of the recall.
NTSB only ruled that Honda had to replace the ignition switch unit; they didn't say for Honda to upgrade the unit.
Sad but true.
The usual symptom is that the car shuts off with no dash warning lights, until the key is cycled again.

I am going to purchase a new ignition switch, which is p/n 35130-S84-305, for those that are interested, for a 1998 and 1999 Accord (L4 and V6). The cost from my local Honda dealership will be $55. I will install myself. I will let you know if it fixes the problem. Thank you for the help.
