1998 LX Jerking when Idle
98 Accord LX, auto, L4, 174k
My car started misfiring about a month ago. I took it to a mechanic to look at it and he said that it seemed like an ignition issue. He recommended to replace the spark plugs which were a year old. I replaced the NGK plugs and it seemed for a while that it was the issue but it started doing it again. At first I thought it was misfiring but upon closer inspection is more like jerking when ever it's just idling. The rpms stay normal when it jerks and my fuel mileage has been same/consistent. The jerking is noticeable and it sometimes shakes a bit too. When it jerks, it has never stalled, rpms stay put, lights don't deem when jerking and it seems that giving it gas whether it's in neutral or park solves the jerking. It seems like more of a jerking/shaking/misfiring. It has been shaking more than usual and when it jerks you could feel and see the car doing it. What could it be???
