I have a 1999 Accord EX with 4 cylinder engine. the first cylinder is getting a spark but is not working, I have changed the spark plug, replaced the distributor wire and checked the distributor cap for pits or unusual wear. Everything looks fine. The engine runs really rough since only three pistons are working and it eventually stalls out when in idle. There is no smoke.

Before I get a pro to look at it, do you have any ideas? Thanks.

 

Check the fuel injector for that cylinder.

fuel injector was fine. It's a compression problem. Thanks for all your help.
