Hey all,
I just wanted to know about the process of removing the PSP on my 99 v6 accord. Will I need a pull tool to take the pump off or can I just pull it off with my hands? Thanks in advance.

If the pump is bad....not that bad of a job,

Suggest you get Honda.Acura approved ps fluid as you will loose some....and not a bad time to add fresh fluid.

Is the pump leaking....these things are built very well.....so my question, why are you replacing the pump? If you have a noise....I'd replace a ~$2 o-ring first.

 

I am also curious why the pump is being replaced. I hear more about bad steering racks (e.g., leaking) on the 6th gen Accords than the power steering pump.
