I bought a basket case 1999 honda accord and some of the electrical connectors were cut off and I can not find the correct wire color placement in the pins. I need for the 5 pin fuel pump connector aqnd for the 4 pin alternator connector. I have replacement connectors but not any idea what color goes where HELP!

 

Is your accord a 4 or 6 cylinder?

My shop manual doesn't have a pinout section, but you can piece it together from the fuel pump/level sending unit tests. Do you only have 4 wires to the 5-pin connector?

I'd also recommend getting the 98-02 shop manual for ~$22 from automanualsource.com. It is very helpful in troubleshooting problems.

4. ??? red/wht or blk. My shop manual doesn't show the wire color to pin 4, but the circuit diagram gives me the 2 other colors. Hopefully the 4th wire is obvious.

No my 5 pin connector has 5 wires to it one for each pin. there is no empty pins. I have a digital copy of the Honda Accord 1999 Factory Shop Manual (FSM) I just am having a time finding the wire diagrams as they aren't like most FSM's that Keep the wire diagrams all in one section and it does not have a connector reference guide.

 

Yes, every one of the 5 pin connector has a wire.
