Default Manual Transmission noise???

Hey guys, it's been a while! So my clutch was finally wearing low and i replaced it about 4 days ago...prior to replacing the clutch i had an "airplane" sounding noise whenever i would downshift (most noticeable when downshifting to first gear). I figured that it was the throwout bearing so i bought an OE clutch kit from Oreilly's which included a new throwout bearing and installed it. After replacing, noise did not go away...when im in neutral the noise is there, when i press my clutch in, there is no noise at all...went to the dealer and filled up the tranny with MTF so it's not low on oil....can it be the transmission itself going out? car is up to 190,000 miles now.

While in neutral, sitting still, is the noise there. Or is this only while the car is moving...or another way, does this only happen while the car is moving or can you make this happen when the car is sitting still?

Did the dealership change the transmission fluid or did they top it off?

From your description, the noise has to be coming from the transmission. I don't know if it is internal or something external. What did you use to lubricate the shift fork and the throwout bearing?

the dealership drained and refilled the transmission..the only thing that got lubricated was the throwout bearing with a little packet that came with the kit

Noises are tough to diagnose over the web. It sounds like something is up with the transmission. Not sure how to verify the transmission is shot. It may be worth your time to take it to a transmission shop to get their opinion.
