Default 1999 Honda Accord Stalls when put in Reverse and let foot off break

My daughter has a 1999 Honda Accord 2.3 VTech automatic. The car idles perfect at 750 in park. When you put it in reverse the idle still remains stable at 750 but the instant you let off the break the car dies. It does not do it every time but occasionally. I have tried wiggling the ignition switch as suggested in some other threads nothing. I have tuned it up new plug wires, new plugs, whole new distributor, air filter in the last 5,000 miles. I would appreciate any advise someone may have

First is to check the "base" idle, just to rule out other simple things.

Since it happens with applying the brakes, I suspected the vacuum booster. But the behavior doesn't really fit. A leaking booster would be a big vacuum leak as soon as you press on the brake pedal - not when you let off the pedal.

I suspect it is the brake booster vacuum line issue. Check the condition of all vacuum lines not just the brake booster. It seems like the ECM is not able to compensate for pressure drop for the booster to regulate the idle, thus there may be a vacuum leak or miss routing.

Thanks for the tips, I appreciate it. I will check those out. Today the car died while sitting at a stop light. Then once she got home and turned off had a hard time starting. On that next trip while running 55 the RPM suddenly dropped to idle speed and check engine light come on. I had codes checked tonight no codes found
