Does the check engine light turn on, or the D4 light start blinking while driving?

Find out when the timing belt was last changed. You are supposed to change them every 90K miles or 7 years (whichever comes first). You may be able to call a honda dealership to see if they have a record of the timing belt change date/mileage. Having a shop replace the belt will cost much more than $100.

Try to find the area of the engine where the oil is leaking (front/back drivers/passenger side). The burning smell may be some of that oil dripping on the hot exhaust. You want to locate then fix that oil leak first.

Find out how many miles have been put on the car since the spark plugs were changed. Change them every 24K miles. Use the NGK ZFR5F-11 spark plugs recommened for your car. Also find out when the coolant, brake fluid, and transmission fluid were last changed.

I would only replace a part that is worn out. That means that you probably want to inspect the car before replacing anything.

1. Look at the tread on the tires for uneven wear or low tread.
2. The rotor surfaces should look smooth. Check brake pad thickness
-----You may want to pick up a packet of the caliper grease packets and lubricate the sliding pins, since you live in the north east.
3. Inspect the suspension for loose ball joints, tie-rod ends, CV joint problems.

I would probably clean out the EGR ports. Clean all ends of both battery cables. Maybe have the battery/alternator/starter tested at the auto parts store.

Didnt read ALL original owners personal record keeep of all oil and car maintenance loose leaf my sis gave me but i did see on last page 3 years ago, "3/12/07" Oil Change, Tune-up, Timing Belt, Tire Rotation" so i mean this thing has potential and im gonna post as much as i can....
I bought bout 50 bucks of stuff for car already and one thing that i feel has helped a tiny bit was air filter, haha an filter how gay, but my first one and this honda still goes fast on everything,,,, no lag in at all, acceleration, transmission, speed etc.. so getting into the Accord .. holy moly

yeah they're pretty generous about taking money from you.. the 650 dollar price was five years ago, I don't know if it has changed but considering the inflation since five years ago, I wouldn't be surprised..

So update, flat tire was slashed supposedly, unbelievable. Thats getting replaced now with ipod deck and mounting kit and mastersheet instructions on the way. Tracking number has it arriving in an hour or two.

Meaning; after today i think all my Polish luck will be gone in terms of flat tire, and a new ipod stereo, a fresh detailing and some cleaning chemicals down the gas and oil tanks, ill be ready to start getting "mechanically inclined" on this 311k beast.

SO THE NEXT THREAD I POST, I will have pictures, along with the 1 owners complete list of every routine maintenance slash part fix and or replaced since he bought it off the factory line.
Hopefully with mass pics and a complete maintenance history you guys will have better tips opinions and help for me so expect that thread soon, you'll know my car better than i will... So let me get factory deck out, new itunes deck in so i can roll to some tunes and then i'm getting to work on re-bolstering this coupe tank. ha

PS what do you think of the brand Speed by Spectre that was the new air filter i put into my 300,000 mile Honda, bc it was cheapest 30 bucks, stock air filter looked like a neanderthal the one i put in looked space aged but idk could have made no difference
