Default 2000 accord. Changed battery. Now, NO CD/Radio??

Just had the battery changed for the first time on my1994auto accord, and now the stock cdplayer/radio doesnt work. When you turn it on, it just says C 1 Any ideas? I called the dealership and they said I gotta bring it in to a local dealership so they can reset the code, but does anyone know how I can do this myself? Thanks

press the 1&6 buttons to get the radio serial/reference number; then call the PARTS dept and ask for the code.

DO I press the 1&6 buttons at the same time or 1 then 6?

common places for codes are

glove box
owner's manual
underside of trunk lid

but to answer your question at the same time and turn power on with the ignition in the on or accessory position (as long as the radio has power)
