2000 Accord coupe, 2.3, 4 cyl. , Manual trans. We replaced fuel pump with a/m part. car ran for awhile. Some times would not start, released fuel line at pump to let off pressure and it started. Now not start, do not hear pump when turn key on. Is there a fuel pressure sensor that controls the starting pump prime?

 

If the pump is not "priming" when the key is turned to "on"/pos II. I'd inspect the main relay to see if it is working.....test inputs and outputs of the relay
