Default 2000 Honda Accord LX 2.3 liter

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I recently began gutting and tearing apart my 2000 Honda Accord LX to lighten the load as well as perform performance enhancing maintenance. My primary goals are performance and fuel economy. Any tips on removing unnecessary engine / transaxle, exhaust components would be helpful. I've already removed the air resonator, air conditioning system including air compressor.

You can probably remove all the interior door panels, arm rests, back seats, carpeting, spare tire, etc.

Default Interior Stripped

I've removed all the dashboard, carpet, seats (except drivers of course), ceiling finish, plastic parts. I was going to remove the door panels and possibly power window motors but don't want the windows to fall down or not stay up. I'm not sure what would happen, but I heard the windows will fall down if you take out the motors. Spare tire and the trunk interior are all gone. I did install a 1/4 platform which spans the passenger side to the rear with lightweight grey carpet over top. I'm thinking of installing a nylon seat and taking out the bulky drivers seat as well...but not sure on what would happen in the event of accident. All the SRS airbags and components are gone as well. I'm already getting better gas mileage...but I want to take this as far as it can go.
