Newbie with 2000 LX 4 door 4 cyl/auto. Looking in the front inner fender area, I am seeing the front door hinges. (both sides of the car) The "inner fender" appears to be intact, isolating the wheel from the engine compartment, but it looks like something is missing at the rear. There are holes and screws in the rear of the wheelwell and an attachment tab is on the inner fender for something. The small corner splash shield (not sure if that is the correct term) at the bottom by the rocker, is there. I have looked on line at various Honda parts sites and am not seeing what I think I am missing. Can you help me figure this out? Thanks in advance.

 

The small piece is probably the splash guard. It might be an accessory.

Search TQWrhzbZIg8 on YouTube for installation on an 03. It should be similar to your 2000.

Thanks for the replay - I had already seen that video - not what I am looking for - I already have the splash guard at the very bottom of the fender. And the parts drawing doesn't look like what I have unless its in 2 pieces and I am missing part. I have nothing that comes to the rear wheel lip from 4 o'clock on up and it looks like I should have something there.

 

I am not sure what you are describing. Maybe post some pics?

If there is a U-Pull-It junkyard, you might want to take a look there to see if they have any 00 accords to see what part(s) you are missing.

 

disregard this thread - I am a total bonehead - looking the car over well - turns out I am missing both inner fenders. Going to find someplace that has the fasteners and everything and order a set. Sorry for my ignorance.
