Default Need help, inner fender liner

I am a tourist from an element forum, but thought you guys could help. My brother in law needs a new inner fender liner for an 02 accord, four door. My problem is I can't find any 98 to 2002 model years locally. I can find older -97 models but I am not sure if they will work. I know my old civic had multiple models where parts were shared and wondering if this was the same case. I am thinking that fender liners are pretty close for similar models, but I could be wrong. Thanks in advance.

1998 was the beginning of the 6th-generation Accord. I expect the fender liners from 97 & earlier will not fit.
In USA?? I ask because UK/Europe had a different car altogether, that was badged "Accord".

Here's 2002:

Here's 1997, looks sufficiently different that I'd hesitate:

Your local dealership can get you one, I think they are about $30 if i recall correctly, but I'd say a maximum of $50.

Thanks for all the replies, that was even faster than my jeep forum. They definitely look too different, probably could make it work but it wouldn't look pretty. Found a guy on craigslist parting out an 01, 2 door though. We are going to check it out now that my brother in law is off work and I have the car now. Next will be the dealer.... if thats truely the price thats not bad for the drive to the dealer. Thanks again for the help.
