my shift ****, the housing has been undone, by the lost of the screw that holds the housing together. what came apart was a spring where the push button inside the shifter. the push button where you push to move free to " P , R , D " . so with the housing off and the spring off, what i have left is a . scratch the "1994 accord" i found the picture online, but these are the other two parts apart of the shifter, and it goes into the column or rod, that my housing sits over on top of. i used to be able to push the rod down, as if i was pushing the button of my shifter to move my shifter column freely, now it is not moving, and using the emergency bypasser does not work as well.

does anyone know how to replace my shifter / shifter ****, and fix my column? or how to open it up further to look at what's jammed?

i'm able to still move my shifter, and drive. but it is just not right, and i know if i don't fix it. things can get a lot worse.
