I recently purchased this vehicle knowing the transmission needed rebuilt, It would drive in reverse only. The rebuild was pretty straight forward, all new O-rings steels and frictions. New Torque converter as well.

Issue,

If I start the car and put it into Drive (any forward gear) the car will go forward and drive for about 1/4 mile or less, ~ 30 seconds. After that it starts to slip and then eventually stops moving all together. Reverse works just fine at all times.

No CEL or codes pulled with my scanner.

I've gone through this transmission twice now and can find no issues hitting me in the face.

i had to get a completely new transmission on mine

 

I've read several posts on this issue bo no one has found a solution or at least posted it, does anyone have an idea what it may be??
