Default 2001 Accord ABS info needed

Hello, My car was serviced by my mechanic, and the ABS and SRS lights came on after he did a clutch and timing belt. The SRS light was on as well, but I was able to do a reset on that and it shut off. I am looking for the specific instructions on how to resetthe ABS lightand then pull the codes if they come back. Thanks for your help. Arman[/align]

Look around underhood to see if there is something unplugged.
Does the ABS light come on as soon as you start the car?
Does the ABS light come on after you go over 5 mph?
Is the ABS pump running at start up?
Maybe you could give the shop that did the T-beltwork a chance to make it right?

Beginning in 1998 the ABS system doesn't run to build up pressure when you start the car. That was the older system.

x2 on giving the shop the opportunity to make it right.

98-02 accords do run shortly after start up. you get a 2 second buzz after pulling away.

OK, I learn something new every day.But it must be way quieter than the early system, I never noticed it on our '98 & our '03.

i notice it every day on my 2000 AV6, but never hear it on 03+ accords.

i cold start my car in morning, run back in, do my morning thing, head back out the warmed up car, back out, put it in drive and start to pull away and i hear a faint 2 sec bzzzzz. it's about 1/3 as loud as say...a 92 accord.

They do that to keep the solenoids, check valves and other doodads from getting stuck/gummed up from lack of use.
