Default 2001 Accord Coupe Alternator Question

It came to my attention this past week that I need a new alternator for my accord.

I was wondering if anyone knows whether I have to take it out from the bottom of the car (underneath) or if I can just pop the hood open and take it out from the top.

Thanks!

Generally, you can remove it from the top. Is this a 4 or 6 cylinder?

see the problem that i was having/considering was that it looks as though i wouldnt be able to pull out the alternator through the top due to the AC hose being in the way.
