2001 accord horn stuck

Default 2001 accord horn stuck

i bought this 2001 honda accord but the steering wheel horn is stuck and i noticed that because i opened up the fuse box and the horn plug was unplugged and when i plugged it in it wouldnt stop honking and when i press it in the steering wheel it just feels empty like its stuck together does anybody know a tutorial on how to fix this?

The horn switch is incorporated into the steering wheel/airbag assembly. If it is the horn switch, it has to be replaced as a whole. Less likely; but, possible, it can also be a short to ground in the wiring for the horn circuit.

There was a safety recall on the driver's airbag inflator on certain 2001-02 Accords, depending on VIN (not all vehicles are affected in those model years). If your Accord qualifies, it will be replaced under the recall.
