Default Stuck CD Cartridge in 2001 Accord LX

Hello.

I have a factory-installed Honda 6-disc CD-Changer in the left side of the trunk. When selecting the CD Changer at the radio, a "CD-C ERR" message displays and the CD Cartridge is stuck inside the changer. The cartridge release button does not do anything. I have been looking for a "reset" button or pinhole, but there is not any within reach.

Please advise on how to make the unit release the cartridge out without taking it to Service.

Thanks

you could try unplugging it for a few minutes, then plugging it back in. Sometimes they'll reset after having power cut

Hello.

Thanks for the response.

I already tried that, but only for two minutes. The error message came back. How long does you suggest?

In case it does not work, any other solution?

Thanks

Hello.

Thanks for the response

I unplugged the unit for several hours, when I plug it again, the CD Cartridge stays stuck, and the CD-C ERR message continues. In the last time, I unplugged the unit for more than a day, and the same situation continues.

Is there any way to manually reset the unit, such as with CD-ROM units?

Thanks
