Verified timing was set and still no luck. Here's a quick clip of what's happening...

Just pulled off the egr valve and its stuck closed. Im pretty sure that's faulty right? Unless a circuit inside is what opens and closes it but from experience cleaning mine on my truck it opens and closes by hand so I would assume they should all do that? And this would probably be my problem?

The egr is electric, so the only way to "open" it is to apply voltage and ground to the proper pins. While off I would clean it, also suggest to clean to port that goes into the intake.

To get to the port the top part/plenum has to come off. See red circle in this pic.

So the egr won't open if I push on the pin? And is there a gasket I would need to replace if I pulled the plenum off?

Lets step back from the egr until we get the car running. Sorry I didn't look at the video until just now. One thing that stood out to me is the tach is not moving when you are cranking the car.

Key to on - verify 12v to the BLK/YEL at the dist.

The tach should move while cranking? Cause it moves to like 200 before it dies...

Yes, small movement just like what you see at the very end of the video. I'm hung up on the fact that for ~2 seconds of cranking there is no movement, but just as you stop it bounces once.

So as PA or someone said a while back, there is an issue in the ignition system. How or where you want to start testing is up to you....are you getting voltage into the system....or are you getting spark at the plugs. We can start from either the input or output end.

I will confirm if I'm getting spark at the plugs again first and then I will also double check the BLK/YEL wire to see if I'm getting voltage but do I do this at the connection inside the dist. Or at the plug on the outside?

And what about the ignition switch? What are the odds of it being that? My uncle owned an accord and a prelude and the ignition switch went out on him on both cars

I'd just back probe the connector for the BLK/YEL wire.....sorry, doing work on my own cars today so I'm in and out.
