Default 2001 Honda Accord V6 batt light occasionally flashes

i have tried 2 altinators and new battery! Occasionally the batt light flashes! The alternator is putting out the correct voltage with a scanner! There is no things that are happening at the time, not cold, not hot, not speed related, It started to stay on longer and I changed the alternator! Now it occasionally goes solid for a millisecond, flashes for a seconnd then goes out and don't return for several days! I out in another new alternator and it still happens! Any ideas what might be causing it?

What have you checked for verifying the wiring is OK? A good alternator won't charge if the wiring is screwed up.

Only thing I can think of is loose contacts...

1) check the battery cables are clean and tight on the battery posts.
2) check the connections are good on the alternator
3) check the the ground cable is clean and tight on the engine/chassis
4) check resistance on the battery cables ( corrosion?)
