2002 Accord Bad isle/won’t start
Hi Everyone,
I was driving up to my gas station and revved my Manual 2002 Honda Accord 2.3L to 4K rpm and there was a sudden pull as if VTEC engaged, so I let go of the throttle and the engine died on me. Engine hasn’t been able to start properly since. It cranks and turns over, even idles weakly at like 300 rpm for about 10 seconds, then it dies. I have attached link of my YouTube video showing the bad idling and eventual stalling. What could the issue be?
No CEL. No Codes.

Your check engine light is on, so I'd start with scanning with an obd2 code reader.
For an engine to run you need air, fuel, spark + timing, and compression. The code may help direct you where to start diagnosing. Have you had any recent work done on the car or any issues before this current problem?

black smoke is an indication that engine air/fuel mixture is way too rich
few things could cause that ,, from a simple dirty air filter to a bad o2 sensor, map sensor ect ( engine coolant temperature ) sensor , if faulty, they could send a faulty signal to ECU to richen fuel mixture
don't start replacing parts till you properly diagnose the cause
