I took my honda for service at the dealership. I was quoted $500 to have my power door actuators replaced... Is this something I can fix in my garage or should I bite the bullet and just use my keys...

 

I just had this fixed.. bought the part off of ebay for $30 or so and then had it replaced at the current dealership for $60 (made a deal with them that I will take the door panel off myself, they will do the rest)
It's not that difficult to do and there are youtube videos on exactly this, but it was a bit tricky for me and I let the pro's do it. Turned out not to be that expensive.

Dealership = stealership :P
