Default 2003 Accord LX 4 cylinder Tranny Slippage

2003 accord with 219,000 miles. The transmission Has been slighty slipping after stopping at a stop and then accelerating again. This happed for a few weeks. Went and had the tranny oil changed and seemed better for a while then back to the same ole thing and then gradually worsend as time goes on. Then yesterday I started the car early in the Morning and heard a whisteling sound coming from under the hood. Popped hood and noticed it was in the tranny area on the right side. Got in it and as I drove it. I got a block away and stopped at a stop sign and the car kinda lunged and then no drive gear. So I dropped it down to second and it went for about a few miles then second gear went out. Stopped the car. Turned it off then restarted and it started driving fine. For about another block. Then same thing. So I shu it off and now I'm posting for suggestions?

Can you check for stored codes in the PCM?

Did you check the fluid level, don't assume as if there is a leak then it is not full anymore.
