2003 Accord Sunroof Problem
My factory sunroof only tiltsnow on my 03 Accord EX. When I try to open the sunroof all the way it only comes down slightly on thedrivers side while on the passenger side it hardlypushes down as it tries to slide into my headliner.
I have searched on this forum and someone had stated to check for a leaf that could be blocking something as this could be the case since I park under a big tree. I have run my hands underneath the channel when it is in the vent position and have found nothing but grease on my hand.
I bought this car as a "CertifiedCar" and does anyone know if any Honda Dealerships will cover this?
Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you.

I am not sure. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will come along and add to this. How many miles are on the car? If its just out of warranty (since its an 03), you might get some goodwill at the dealer. Do you have a good relationship with one?

RE: 2003 Accord Sunroof Problem
I only have 49K on this car and the warranty when I bought the car expired at 48K under the "Certified Used Car Program". I removed my sunroof visor and cleared a leaf from the passenger side that was wedged between the glass and the frame and got excited for a second thinking it would work but it didn't.
I tried to crank it open manually but it wouldn't budge when I tried to open it up all the way. I didn't want to force it causing more damage or the glass to shatter.
I have 3 dealerships in my area and I can try them and see what they will charge. It doesn't seem like the motor since it vents without a problem.
Thank you for your help.
