Hello all,

Today, for the first time ever, my 2003 Accord EX V6 wouldn't start. When I turned the key in the ignition a horrible stuttering sound emitted from the engine and immediately stopped upon letting go of the key. You can listen to the sound yourself here.

I'd really appreciate any ideas you guys might have about what's causing this noise!

Today was also one of the first really cold days of the season here in Richmond -- in case there's any relationship to my problem.

That sounds like the starter making the noise. It may not be getting enough power from the battery. I would remove the battery and have it tested at a parts store.
