I have a 2003 Honda Accord 2.4L lx, no navigation, and the audio has stopped working, the head unity lights up but there is no sound. I have researched the problem and it seems common but none of the solutions that I have tried work. I disconnected the rear speakers to see if there was an internal amp problem, and I took out the fuses and reinserted them and still no sound. I'm thinkng about buying a brand new head unit but if there are any other solutions that anyone knows of please post them.

 

The head unit probably went bad. You can get it repaired and send it to Alpine in California to have it repaired for ~$150. Here is the number to contact them. 800-421-2284
