Refer to the photo in my previous post for Connector E. Connector E is at the end, with 31 terminal pins.

The order is A, B, C, D, and then E.

I forgot about this other quick check.

Unplug the connector to the Throttle Position Sensor (TP Sensor), you’ll get a Check Engine Light; but, see if you can shift out of Park.

If you can shift out of Park, power from the Brake Switch is probably passing through to the PCM, and the PCM is probably sending the ground signal to the Shift Lock Solenoid.

1. If there is no power (+) at terminal 22 of Connector E of the PCM with the brake pedal depressed, then that indicates an open (break) in the circuit.

Just to be clear that the correct wire terminal was tested; the Wht/Blk wire is a wire with white colored insulation and a black strip running through it.

When you tested, did you use a jumper from the Red wire to the Wht/Blk wire at the brake switch connector, or did you depressed the brake pedal with the brake switch connector plugged in?

2. Before we proceed with the next test, let me know whether you used a jumper or not at the brake switch, so we can rule out other cause(s) of the previous results.

I should have included the following information regarding these Honda circuit diagrams. For female side terminal connector, the terminal numbering is on the wire side; for male terminal connector side, the terminal numbering is on the terminal cavity side.
