Default 2004 Accord Backlight Radio Issue

I have a 2004 Accord EX and several of the backlights are not working.

The main section is the radio, buttons 1-6 as well as the AC control buttons are no longer backlit. The sunroof controls are also failing to be back lit.

Is there a certain fuse I need to check? I couldn't figure it out.

Thanks for the help.

Common problem. Faulty printed circuit board (pcb).

I have a similar issue but all of mine work except the 6 outside backlights: am/fm, cd/aux, seek/skip, tune, rdm, and rpt switches are all dark. everything else works great (knock on wood). would this also be a faulty PCB? i've been reading up on it but i'm just trying to figure out if the outside switch backlights are changeable or not. Thanks for any reply.

I have the same issue. I found a Youtube video that explains the issue and a solution. Kudos to the guy making the video for explaining it so well.

I got my interior dash tools delivered to me on Friday, I took the steroe out and soldered the wire to jump the 2.3 amp like the YouTube video and it worked great. My stereo backlight is back in business. Total time was about 45 min to remove the stereo, solder the wire and reinstall everything.
