Default 2004 Accord EXL Coupe Brakes

hey I'm a noob when it comes to fixin cars. Bikes I can work on, but not so much these things. anyways, I have a 2004 accord coupe ex-l 4 cylinder 5 speed and it's making this terrible squealing noise while I drive. It sounds like its coming from the brakes (similar sound when I'm stopping). First it only happened when I was braking so I thought it was just time for new pads, but now I hear it while I'm riding around not braking at all. Any ideas how much this'll cost me?

Well if you let the pads wear all the way down the squealer tab will rub the rotor all the time. So if you don't change pads the squealer tab will eventially get enough vibration and break off, then the noise will go away until the steel backing pad starts dragging on the rotor.
CHECK THE BRAKE PADS ASAP

if it needs pads and you do it yourself,,,,,,,Honda pads cost about 50-55 dollars,, there is an How to in our DIY section ,,,,
like Dude said,, if you let it go any longer pad will did into rotors ..resurfacing or replacing will cost you more money. take a look ASAP..
