hello all. im just here trying to prove a point to my misguided friend... im not here to bash your car or honda's in general but he quotes that the above mentioned car will run a 12.5 second quarter mile and trap at 120 mph.... as you can see he is on crack but no matter what i tell him he will not beleive me, im just asking if there is anywhere i can find the exact information or if i could get some input from owners of this car with possible time slips??? thanks everyone im just here trying to clear a poor kids head before he goes and decides to street race someone who will royaly own his **BUTT**

also is there any site on the net that gives me solid times for the car as so i can show him numbers and compare to REAL cars that run 12's?

 

yahoo cars has the stock 1/4 mile times for most production cars. I think it's yahoo or MSN.

yeah, there's no way it would run a 12.5.

but I'm getting close to that though

 

yea i found the times for a honda accord ex v6 with 6 speed manual has 240 hp and runs a 15.3 but since its not "his car" it must be wrong..... last time i checked 25hp doesnt make your car 3 seconds faster in the quarter mile less the car weights like 500 lbs lol!!

 

I'm assuming that 15.3 time is a sedan?

 

according to autos.msn.com the 15.3 is the coupe

 

Must be an auto or **POOPY** driver. For sure no 12's but no 15+ slow either.

Car and driver got 14.5 out of the sedan 6 speed with a 6.3 0-60
MotorTrend got a 5.8 blast to 60 i think.

lol yeah i told him i got 10 bucks says your car doesnt do 120 mph in 1320 feet.... he says when so this should be interesting. might have to dish out some tough love i got a 4 wheeler and a mustang thats "slower" than his car that might just need to womp on his accord
