Default 2004 ACCORD LX SEDAN 3.0L AUTOMATIC (radio issue)

Greetings everyone, hope you're having a fantastic day.

I have recently acquired the vehicle referenced in the topic title and have a couple questions about the radio issue.

The radio does not work at all. No lights, no camera, no action. I checked the only relative fuse I could find under the steering wheel on the side, but I'm aware there may be more fuses involved. Can someone shed some light & tell me comprehensively which fuses need to be checked as I would like to avoid unnecessary expense.

I'm also aware that it could be the internal amp in the radio. Aftermarket is not something I'm interested in, so I'd have to purchase one. Is there a way to narrow it down to know for sure that is the problem?

Anything else I should look for? Thanks very much for your help in advance & God bless.

-Mike

The fuses to check are the No. 5 (10A) and No. 32 (7.5A) located in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box.

If fuses are good, it probably is due to a faulty printed circuit board in the audio unit. Relatively common problem on the 7th gen Accords.

Is that possible to replace?

Replacement PCB boards were sold separately years ago and were easily found before, not anymore.

Some people send their audio unit in to Alpine for repairs or attempt their own repairs. There always is the option to obtain a used unit; but, make sure you get the security code for the unit though if you chose that route.

Yep it looks like the circuit board. I watched the repair video on YouTube, going to try it myself. Do you know if a circuit pen will work just as well as the wire? The original poster on the YouTube Video recommended the pen (even though he uses a wire in the video) so I'm assuming it should work fine and be even easier.
