Question 2004 Accord Radio Problem.

I just bought a used 2004 Accord. The problem I am having is that when i hop in the car and fire it up my radio works fine for about 5 minutes or so, then simply shuts down and the display goes blank. this happens all the time and it seems the only way to bring it back to life is to shut down the car and restart it.

anyone else have this problem and or know the cause and or fix?
thanks in advance.

Default Cd/redio goes dead 15 seconds after starting

I have the same problem with my '04 accord. Started a few months ago that the cd player would go dead about 15-20 seconds after starting. It now happens with radio or cd. Is there a recall on this or any insight how to fix?

If that unit is an alpine, you can ship them the unit, and they will repair it.

Here is a phone number: 800-421-2284
